About
Keynote speaker Elizabeth Hale will present:
Sustainable Vibrance: How Creative Practices Can Help Us Retain Glowing Health, Cognitive Function, Mobility, and Joy
Therapeutic Arts are creative practices that are non-performative and not focused on a finished product. Rather, they are opportunities for emotional release, self-discovery, healing, perspective shifting, and, in the case of visual arts and somatic movement, outlets for nonverbal expression. Learn how incorporating them into your life can enhance the quality of your physical, mental, and emotional health.

Second Set of Workshops
Interplay workshop with Hannah Mitchell
Interplay is a creative way to access the wisdom of the body, using music, words, story- telling, movement, singing, sounds, or art. It is all improvisational but within a structure. Anybody literally any “body” can do it. When movement is used you can do it however you can, from sitting, lying down or standing.
Everything is done very incrementally and so we all adjust as needed and participate as wanted.
In 45 minutes you will get the flavor of it and may have some surprises. You may laugh, cry, go deep or just have fun.
Emotional Alias: with Mary Helmin
Making friends with your feelings. Through art, journaling and supportive discussion the session will offer tools and insights for gaining a deeper understanding of the function of emotions and ways to transform your relationship with difficult feelings.
Hindu Breathwork with Jane Jordan
As a result of a 6-week trip to India, Jane learned about breathwork. Breathwork practices aim to regulate, deepen, and harmonize breathing, fostering physical health, mental clarity, and spiritual awareness. There is even a breathing method to help with snoring.
